Before You File a Copyright Claim

Daddy Beads Studio is a pattern generation tool, not a content platform. Here's what you should know:

How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

To file a copyright infringement claim, send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent at:

Your notice must include all of the following information (incomplete notices may not be processed):

1. Your contact information — full name, address, phone number, and email address.

3. Identification of the infringing material — describe the material that you claim is infringing and where it is located on our Service. Provide enough detail that we can locate it (e.g., the username, pattern name, or a specific URL if applicable).
4. Good faith belief statement — a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. Accuracy statement — a statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
6. Your signature — your physical or electronic signature.

What Happens After We Receive Your Notice

When we receive a complete and valid DMCA notice, we will:

1. Acknowledge receipt — we'll email you to confirm we received it.
2. Review and investigate — we'll look into the claim and locate the content in question.
3. Remove or disable access — if the claim appears valid, we'll remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
4. Notify the user — we'll attempt to notify the user who posted the content that it has been removed, along with a copy of your notice.
5. Keep a record — we maintain a record of all DMCA notices we receive.

We process valid DMCA notices as quickly as possible, typically within 24-48 hours of receipt.

Counter-Notice (If Your Content Was Removed by Mistake)

If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification.

To file a counter-notice, send a written notice to our DMCA agent at dmca@daddybeadsstudio.com with all of the following:

1. Your contact information — full name, address, phone number, and email address.
2. Identification of the removed material — describe the content that was removed or disabled and where it was located before it was removed.
3. Statement under penalty of perjury — a statement that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
4. Consent to jurisdiction — a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if you are outside the United States, to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the District of Delaware).
5. Service acceptance — a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or their agent.
6. Your signature — your physical or electronic signature.

What happens after a counter-notice

When we receive a valid counter-notice, we will:

1. Forward a copy to the person who filed the original DMCA notice.
2. Let them know we may replace the removed content in 10-14 business days.
3. If we don't receive notice that the copyright owner has filed a court action against you within that time, we may restore the removed content.

Repeat Infringers

It is our policy to terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. Here's how it works:

We may skip steps and terminate immediately for:

• Commercial-scale infringement
• Intentional or willful infringement
• Infringement that causes significant harm
• Multiple different works infringed at once

We also reserve the right to terminate accounts for a single serious instance of infringement.

User Responsibilities

As a user of Daddy Beads Studio, you agree that:

• You will only upload images that you own or have legal permission to use
• You are responsible for the content you create and share
• You will not use the Service to infringe the copyright or other intellectual property rights of others
• We may remove content that we believe infringes copyright, without prior notice
• We may terminate your account for repeated or serious copyright violations

If you're not sure whether you have the right to use an image, don't use it. When in doubt, use images you've created yourself or images that are clearly labeled for reuse (like Creative Commons Zero / public domain images).

Trademarks

Perler, Hama, Artkal, and other bead brand names mentioned in the Service are trademarks of their respective owners. Daddy Beads Studio is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by these brands.
