Getting Started

How does the free trial work?

Sign up and get 5 free pattern generations. No credit card required.

During your free trial, you get full access to:

• 5 pattern generations and downloads
• Cloud saving for your patterns
• Edit and modify any of your saved patterns

After your 5 free generations are used up, you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan to continue using these features.

Do I need to install anything?

Nope. Daddy Beads Studio works entirely in your web browser. No downloads, no installs.

Plans & Billing

Can I cancel anytime?

It depends on your plan:

• Monthly & Annual: Yes — you can cancel anytime. If you cancel within 7 days, you get a full refund. After 7 days, you can cancel the next billing cycle but no refund for the current period.
• Lifetime: Within 7 days, you can request a full refund. After 7 days, the lifetime plan cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes — full refund within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked. One refund per account. See our Refund Policy for details.

Can I upgrade my plan?

Yes! You can upgrade from Monthly to Annual or Lifetime (or any combination) at any time. We'll charge you the prorated difference immediately, cancel your old subscription, and activate your new plan right away.

I bought the Lifetime plan — do future updates cost extra?

No. All future basic feature updates are included free with Lifetime.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. All payments are handled by Stripe, which uses industry-standard encryption and security. We never see or store your full credit card number.

Using the Tool

How does it work?

Upload a photo, adjust the settings (size, palette, brand), and we'll convert it into a perler bead pattern with a color-coded grid, bead list, and more. All image processing happens locally in your browser — your photos never leave your device.

Which bead brands do you support?

Perler, Artkal, and Hama — the three most popular brands. You can switch between them in the settings.

How do I print my pattern?

Download the PNG pattern for printing — it includes grid lines and color codes, ready for regular paper. Also download the CSV bead list to know exactly which beads to buy for your project.

Can I use this on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Daddy Beads Studio works in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, and phone. For the best experience, we recommend using a desktop or tablet.

What You Can Do

What can I do with the patterns I generate?

Use them for personal crafts, gifts, or even sell your finished bead artwork (the physical thing you made by hand).

You may not resell or redistribute the pattern files themselves (PNG, CSV, PDF). If you're unsure about a specific use, just ask — hello@daddybeadsstudio.com.

Are my images uploaded to your server?

No. All image processing happens locally in your browser. Your photos never leave your device. We don't upload, store, or see your original images. Ever.

Where are my saved patterns stored?

Paid plans save your patterns to the cloud using Google Firebase. Only you can see your patterns. We store pattern data and a small preview of the generated pattern — never your original photo.

Copyright

Can I use any image?

You should only upload images that you own or have permission to use. Generating a pattern from someone else's copyrighted image (like a movie character, brand logo, or artist's work) without permission may be copyright infringement.

You're responsible for the images you upload. If you're not sure, don't use it.

What if I'm a copyright owner and someone is using my work?

See our Copyright & DMCA Policy, or email dmca@daddybeadsstudio.com to report infringement. We respond quickly to valid notices.

Account & Data

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account and all your data, email us at privacy@daddybeadsstudio.com. We'll handle it within 30 days.

When your account is deleted, all saved patterns and account info are permanently removed, and your subscription is canceled.

What data do you collect?

Very little. Just your email, subscription status, and the pattern data you choose to save. We never see your original images. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Do you share my data with anyone?

No. We never sell, rent, or share your personal information. We use trusted services like Firebase and Stripe to run the Service, and they only get the minimum data needed to do their jobs.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Firebase uses Google's enterprise-grade security.

Troubleshooting

The pattern doesn't look right. What went wrong?

The most common reason: your original photo has too many colors, fine details, and gradients. Perler bead patterns work best with flat, bold, simple colors — like pixel art or cartoons.

That's why we recommend pre-processing your image with an AI tool first before uploading it here. AI can simplify your photo into clean, flat color blocks with fewer colors — which means:

• Easier to craft
• Fewer bead types to buy
• Better-looking finished result

Still not happy with the result? Try adjusting the palette size or bead count or tweak the pattern and colors on canvas.

My saved patterns aren't syncing.

Make sure you're logged in with the same email on both devices. If the problem continues, try refreshing the page or logging out and back in. Still stuck? Email hello@daddybeadsstudio.com.

Click "Forgot password" on the login page and enter your email. We'll send you a link to reset it.
