Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Daddy Beads Studio website and service (the "Service"), operated by [MINI SOURCING LIMITED], a Hong Kong company ("we", "us", or "our").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Free Trial

When you sign up, you get 5 free pattern generations. No credit card required.

During your free trial, you get full access to:

• 5 pattern generations and downloads
• Cloud saving for your patterns
• Edit and modify any of your saved patterns

After your 5 free generations are used up, you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan to continue using these features.

2. Paid Plans

We offer three plans:

Monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.

What "Lifetime" means: Your Lifetime plan works for as long as we operate the Service. If we ever shut down the Service, we'll give you at least 30 days notice and a way to export your patterns. "Lifetime" doesn't mean your lifetime — it means the lifetime of the Service.

Paid plans include:

• Cloud pattern saving
• Cross-device access
• Priority support (Annual and Lifetime plans only)

3. Billing & Payments

All payments are processed through Stripe. We don't store your credit card information.

Charges: You'll be charged at the start of each billing period (monthly or annually). Lifetime plans are a one-time charge.

Upgrades: If you upgrade your plan, we'll charge you the prorated difference immediately. Your old subscription is automatically cancelled, and your new plan takes effect right away.

Cancellation

• Monthly & Annual (within 7 days): Full refund — your subscription is cancelled immediately.
• Monthly & Annual (after 7 days): You can cancel the next billing cycle at any time. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period, but no refund is available for the current period.
• Lifetime (within 7 days): Full refund — your lifetime access is cancelled.
• Lifetime (after 7 days): No cancellation or refund available.

4. What You Can Do With Your Patterns

You own the patterns you generate (as long as you had the rights to the original image). You can use them for:

• ✅ Personal crafts and hobby projects
• ✅ Gifts for family and friends
• ✅ Selling finished bead artwork you made by hand
• ✅ Classroom or educational use (non-commercial)

You may not:

• ❌ Resell or redistribute the pattern files (PNG, CSV, PDF) themselves
• ❌ Package generated patterns into collections for sale
• ❌ Use the tool to build a competing product or service
• ❌ Use our brand name, logo, or screenshots without permission
• ❌ Copy our user interface, design, or features for your own product

5. Your Content & Intellectual Property

What you upload

You keep all rights to images you upload and patterns you generate.

You promise that:

• You own the rights to any image you upload, or you have permission from the copyright owner
• Your use of the image doesn't violate any laws or infringe anyone's rights
• You're responsible for any copyright violations from content you upload

What we own

We own the Service itself — the code, design, user interface, algorithms, brand, and all features. You don't get any rights to these just because you use the Service.

Pattern thumbnails and previews

When you save a pattern to the cloud, we store pattern data and a small preview image (the pixelated pattern, not your original photo). This is only visible to you (unless you choose to share it in the future).

6. Copyright

We respect copyright and we expect our users to do the same.

You promise that you have the rights to any images you upload and patterns you generate. You're responsible for any copyright violations from content you upload.

7. Acceptable Use

Don't do these things on our Service:

• ❌ Upload infringing content — images you don't have rights to
• ❌ Upload illegal content — anything that violates laws
• ❌ Abuse the service — spam, bots, scraping, automated mass-generation
• ❌ Hack or break things — try to access other users' data, exploit bugs, reverse-engineer the code
• ❌ Use for commercial resale — you can't sell access to the tool or white-label it

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Refund Policy

To request a refund, go to your account menu and click "Request Refund," or email hello@daddybeadsstudio.com.

9. Service Changes

We're always working to make the Service better. We may:

• Add new features
• Change or remove existing features
• Adjust prices (changes won't affect your current billing period)

Lifetime subscribers get all future basic feature updates at no extra cost.

10. Account Termination

You can cancel anytime. If you cancel a subscription, you'll keep access until the end of your billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Abuse the refund policy
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Fail to pay for a paid plan

No refund will be provided in cases of account termination due to violations.

After termination:

• You lose access to the Service and cloud-saved patterns
• We may delete your data after 30 days (we'll hold it longer if legally required)
• Sections of these Terms that should survive termination will survive — like the disclaimers, liability limits, and rules about intellectual property.

11. No Guarantees

We work hard on Daddy Beads Studio, but the Service is provided "as is" — we can't promise it will be perfect, always available, or 100% accurate. Always double-check patterns before starting a big project.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied.

12. Our Liability Is Limited

If something goes wrong, our maximum liability to you is the total amount you've paid us in the last 12 months (or $100 if you haven't paid anything).

We won't be liable for indirect damages like lost profits, lost data, or lost time.

Some places don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

13. You're Responsible for Your Actions

If you get into legal trouble because of something you did on the Service — like uploading content you don't own or violating these Terms — you agree to cover any costs or damages that come from it.

14. How We Handle Disputes

First, talk to us. Email hello@daddybeadsstudio.com and we'll try to work it out within 30 days. Most issues get solved this way.

If we can't work it out, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Wilmington, Delaware, under JAMS rules. No class actions — you agree to resolve issues one-on-one.

These Terms are governed by Delaware law.

15. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please read it — it explains what data we collect and how we use it.

16. Brand Notice

Perler, Hama, and Artkal are trademarks of their respective owners. Daddy Beads Studio is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by these brands. Color codes and names shown in the app are for reference only.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the latest version on this page, and your continued use of the Service means you accept the changes.
